This poster is from the film Avengers. in this film we see a wide range of different characters with films behind them all. the film did extremely well, grossing over $1,518,594,910 and having a budget of 220 million dollars. the characters from this film are all from the comic company, Marvel, this means that the audience who knows of marvel or reads the comics will be intrigued into watching this film appealing to their target audience. All characters in this poster are all ion costume showing the veiwers who they are and what the can do, for example we see iron man at the front wearing  his 'iron suit' with his iconic glowing weapons on his hands and his glowing heart devise.

Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Official Full Movie Trailer (2014) (HD)...

Transformers is one of the most successful franchises around, this is paramounts' 4th transformers film. Transformers is directed by Micheal bay. Firstly the opening shot is the distributor (paramount) this tells the audience who makes the film also can show the quality of the film making as their products are reliable.  at the beginning we have a equilibrium. we see a working class individual as a mechanic minding his business trying to find work. the music is a heavenly sound building up to something that may be "judgement day" for the main character. during the first 45 seconds the audience aren't sure whos who and what is happening as the main actor (shia labouf) has gone and the new actor ( mark wahlberg ) has arrived and many people may be spectical on his acting or if he is right for the job.

When mark says 'i think we found a transformer' the equilibrium breaks, the heavenly non-digetic sound is suddenly interrupted by a loud clashing of metal sound and followed by a heavy low magnetic sound. before all the action within the trailer starts the director is revealed to us, the black screen with the metallic colour saying 'from the director. Micheal Bay.' this tells the audience again how the movie may perform due to the well known director and the fact that he did the recent ones that succeeded and met his target audiences approval.  after that we see a convoy of black 4X4 and a helicopter which looks intimidating due to the cars being very big and all black, this will automatically make the audience know that these are the bad guys as stereo-typically black and big cars often represent the government or bad guys or both. we see fast shots of these "government agents" all in black asking where Optimus Prime is. from what the men are wearing we understand that these men are the antagonists of the movie and we also see the leader of the group as we see him in most shots and we have close up shots telling the audience that he is the leader.
The female conforms to the stereotype within this trailer as we can see she is thrown to the floor showing that she is weak and incapable, relying on the male protagonist to save her.  This can be referred to either mark wahlburgs character or optimus prime, as he bursts out of the barn saving the helpless humans.

The next sequence we have a extreme long shot of the location. and perhaps a new antagonist as we see a glimpse of him in a dark room with only his face showing, we carry on hearing his voice during the different shots which shows us that other transformers are being killed which tells us that this mysterious figure is a antagonist. we also hear him say  'the age of the transformers is over' which relates to the film title 'age of extinction'. we get to see the basic story line of the movie giving the audience a glimpse of what the are in for when the watch the whole movie. we understand that humans aren't in need for the transformers and are killing them. We also see that there is another invasion as the ships are orbiting earth. in this film we see ALOT of antagonists we have humans which are fighting the autobots and then we have decepticons fighting the autobots. both species have a leader that looks stronger and more intimidating than others making the audience more excited as they will have to have a battle with them.

We then see alot of different shots within the movie creating tension and excitement. the sound is changes to a low bass sound as we see the new evil enemy Optimus prime has to face, close up shots are used to pick out the detail of this enemy such as his weapon transforming out of his face. like in the other films the autobots tend to get into trouble but always find away. as we see optimus prime get shot and his parts get scattered, this can worry the viewers and they wouldn't want the main protagonist to die. after we see optimus get shot all we see from then is the destruction in the path of the invaders and other autobots like bumblebee, this will please the transformers fans as bumblebee has been in the two other films and was very popular.
the action sequences are very pleasing towards the target audience as there is alot of fighting and explosions which will appeal to the teenage audience.

at the end of the trailer we see optimus again but we see the dinosaur transformers. this is a new unique sales point to the transformers franchise, this will make the audience who are into the movies want to see it more as its never been seen before
